A stake-type earth resistance tester, using driven spikes to measure the resistance of an earth electrode against reference points. This is the reference method: it is what a commissioning or periodic test certificate expects, and it works on an electrode that has been disconnected from the installation. Supplied with the lead set and stakes needed to run the test properly.
