A high-voltage insulation tester for cable, motor and transformer windings, where the standard 1 kV handheld does not go far enough to prove the insulation. Higher test voltages stress the insulation closer to its working condition and reveal weaknesses that a low-voltage test walks straight past. Used on plant, HV cable and rotating machine maintenance.
