The 1555 takes the 1550C's capability to 10 kV, for high-voltage plant where the test voltage has to match the equipment being proved. As with the 1550C, wireless logging is the practical feature: diagnostic routines take time, and being able to leave the test running and watch it from a safe distance is how the work actually gets done. Specified for utility, substation and heavy industrial applications.
