Uni-T UT22B-EU non-contact voltage tester for quick live-conductor checks. A non-contact voltage detector, which is the first instrument out of the pouch on almost every job: it establishes whether a conductor is live before anything else is touched. Small enough to live in a shirt pocket, cheap enough to replace rather than nurse, and important enough that everyone on site should have one. It indicates presence of voltage; it is not a substitute for a proving dead test.
