Detects voltage and lights the work area, for the panel checks that happen in the dark.
The LVD2 combines voltage detection with a work light, which is a more useful pairing than it first appears: a great deal of electrical fault finding happens in unlit risers, ceiling voids and plant rooms after a supply has been isolated. It also gives a proximity indication before contact, so an approach can be made cautiously rather than blindly.
