Fluke 116 HVAC Multimeter
Built for HVAC work: microamps for flame sensors and a built-in thermometer, so one meter covers the call.
The 116 is the 115 reworked for HVAC. Microamp measurement is the reason it exists: flame sensor currents are far too small for a general-purpose meter to resolve, and without them a technician is guessing at why a burner will not stay lit. The built-in thermometer removes a second instrument from the bag, which matters on a call where you are already carrying gauges. For anyone whose work is heating and cooling rather than distribution, it is the more useful of the two.
