Hioki CT6705 clamp-on current probe with an extended current range. Hioki's clamp-on current probe range, intended to feed an oscilloscope or recorder rather than display a reading itself. The point of a probe over a clamp meter is bandwidth: it follows the shape of the current waveform, not just its magnitude, which is what inverter, switching-supply and motor drive work demands. Supplied for laboratory and design-validation use as much as field work.
