The i400 clamps around a conductor and feeds the reading to a multimeter, turning a meter you already own into a current instrument up to 400 A. For anyone who measures current occasionally rather than constantly, that is a considerably cheaper answer than a second instrument. It also reaches conductors in places a full clamp meter body will not fit.
