Uni-T UT691A visual fault locator for tracing breaks and bends in fibre. A visual fault locator, which injects visible light into a fibre so that a break, a tight bend or a bad connector shows as a glow at the fault. It is the fastest diagnostic in fibre work and it needs no interpretation at all: you look along the run and see where the light escapes.
