Mitutoyo 7033B universal hydraulic magnetic stand, 80 kgf holding force. A magnetic stand holds an indicator rigidly against a machine bed or fixture. Rigidity is the whole specification - any flex in the arm shows up directly in the reading, so a stand that drifts makes the indicator on it pointless. A single hydraulic lock clamps every joint of the articulated arm at once, which is far quicker than tightening three separate knuckles.
