Mitutoyo 571-201-30 Absolute Digimatic depth gauge, 0-150 mm, with SPC output. A depth gauge for measuring holes, steps and recesses against a reference face. The base has to sit flat and square or the reading is wrong, which is why a proper depth gauge beats standing a caliper on its tail. SPC output sends each reading straight to a data collector or a PC, which is what turns an inspection into a record without anybody transcribing numbers.
