A clamp meter stops being useful the moment the conductor will not fit the jaw, which is why the 376 FC ships with the iFlex flexible probe. The probe wraps awkward busbars and tight cable bundles and extends the measuring range well beyond what the jaw alone can reach. Inrush measurement captures motor starting current instead of averaging it away. The clamp to specify when you cannot know in advance what you will be measuring.
