An 18V XR hammer drill driver supplied on POWERSTACK cells, which pack more usable power into a smaller, lighter body than a standard pack of the same rating. The everyday drill on an XR site: drilling, driving and light masonry on one tool. Part of Dewalt's 18V XR system, so the battery is shared with every other XR tool on site. Brushless motors are the reason this generation runs longer per charge and lasts longer overall - there are no brushes to wear out and less energy lost as heat.
